Junior Construction Engineer

Wood’s team has an exciting opportunity for an Entry-Level Transportation/Construction Engineer with interest in roadway engineering, construction oversight, and opportunities for career growth to join our team in Saskatoon. The ideal candidate has strong technical capabilities, a commitment to delivering a quality product and a desire for career growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve in a technical role working under the direction of a Project Manager to develop roadway construction plans for a wide range of highway design projects
• Work in the field supporting roadway projects
• Develop and write reports
• Provide on-site supervision, contract administration, enforcement of contract specifications, and construction monitoring

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• 2 to 4 years of experience in road construction
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with other team members
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Willingness to travel
• Unrestricted driver’s license valid in the province of Saskatchewan and satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving policy
