Mandatory qualifications
Diploma or degree in the Information Technology field or equivalent experience
Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience
A+ certificate in hardware and basic operating systems
Solid knowledge of all Microsoft-related products
Customer service experience in a technical position
NICE TO HAVE
Knowledge of SCCM current branch version 2207 an asset
Knowledge of Active Directory an asset
The Role
The Network & Infrastructure Services team is responsible for the appropriate infrastructure to support the client's information technology needs. Within this group, the Help Desk Operator provides front-line response to Help Desk queries.
In this role you will primarily work on a project deploying equipment and perform laptop upgrades; however, you may also complete additional Helpdesk duties as needed to support the client. In this role, you will:
· Deploy, upgrade and configure computers through System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
· Deploy docking stations, keyboards, mice, monitors and monitor arms
· Create and configure users Active Directory accounts on Windows platforms
· Provide support to the client's Help Desk team when needed
· Support workstation software including patches, Internet connectivity, operating systems and normal business applications
· Maintain inventories including computers, telephony and software
