Job Description - Junior Sales Manager

Position Summary:

We are looking for a results-driven individual who is ready to take on responsibilities, manage key aspects of the sales process, and help shape the future of our sales team. The Junior Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing CRM data entry, and providing exceptional service to our customer base. The ideal candidate is a competitive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable making dozens of calls per day, works effectively with partners, generates interest, qualifies prospects, and successfully closes sales.

Compensation for this position is an annual salary of $68,250.00

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and grow sales relationships with existing clients and new clients.
  • Identify and engage potential clients, move them through the sales pipeline.
  • Assess clients' needs, recommend or assist in the selection of appropriate service, and negotiate prices or other sales terms.
  • Provide input into product design where services must be tailored to suit clients' needs.
  • Develop sales presentations, proposals, or other materials to illustrate benefits from the use of services.
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
  • Prospect call preparation including company background research and other pertinent lead information.
  • Ensure proper onboarding and maintain a long term relationship with clients after sales to resolve problems and provide ongoing support.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems related to the software.
  • Assess market conditions and competitors' activities and develop an awareness of emerging markets and trends.
  • Develop and maintain technical product or service knowledge to explain features to clients and answer questions about the services.
  • May offer training in the operation and maintenance of the software.
  • Develop, implement, and report on sales strategies to achieve business goals.
  • May supervise the activities of other technical staff and sales specialists.

Employment Requirements:

  • A university degree or college diploma in a related program is required.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in sales is required.
  • Experience with CRM systems and data entry.
  • Knowledge of SaaS enterprise solution and API integration is required.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and techniques, Proven track record.
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.
  • It is a hybrid position so the candidate must be able to travel to the office as required.
  • Travel across Canada, as required for the position.
