Job Summary
Employees of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia (Assembly) provide professional non-partisan services to support the democratic institution of Parliament and its members through procedural advice, administrative support and information services. The Assembly is an autonomous employer, separate from the administrative framework of B.C. government ministries and agencies.
The Information Technology department is seeking an analytical, collaborative and service-oriented individual for the auxiliary full-time position of Junior Technical Analyst.
Reporting to the Systems and Architecture Manager, the Junior Technical Analyst is responsible for supporting the IT Department by assisting with systems, monitoring, troubleshooting and resolving basic technical issues. This includes software and hardware setup, creating documentation, working with senior members of the team on complex issues, creating solutions and providing entry level support to end users.
