Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of the head chef
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during service hours
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries and concerns
Experience:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic food handling and safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors
Please note that this position does not involve bartending, hospitality, leadership, supervising, or restaurant management duties. It is primarily focused on assisting in the kitchen with food preparation and ensuring a clean and organized work environment.
