Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Kubernetes/Infrastructure Engineer with a solid background in cloud-native technologies, microservices orchestration, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Kubernetes (K8s), Rancher, and Helm, alongside hands-on coding experience in C#, Java, and Python, to architect, build, and optimize the infrastructure supporting our next-generation surveillance and data analysis platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage containerized application infrastructure using Kubernetes, Rancher, and Helm.

  • Collaborate with software engineering teams to support CI/CD pipelines and ensure infrastructure scalability and resiliency.

  • Develop and maintain internal tools and automation scripts using Python, Java, and C#.

  • Optimize Kubernetes clusters for performance, cost-efficiency, and observability in a high-availability environment.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot issues across the infrastructure stack, from cloud services to application-level components.

  • Work closely with Security and Compliance teams to enforce infrastructure best practices.

  • Manage Helm charts and Rancher environments for efficient multi-cluster deployments.

  • Participate in architectural reviews and contribute to infrastructure roadmap planning.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and introduce best practices for cloud-native infrastructure and automation.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3–6 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering.

  • Deep understanding and hands-on experience with:

    • Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, service mesh, storage, networking)

    • Rancher (multi-cluster management, RBAC, policy enforcement)

    • Helm (chart development, templating, versioning)

  • Strong scripting and automation skills in Python.

  • Working proficiency in C# and Java, especially for tool integration and backend service support.

  • Experience building and deploying microservices and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitOps preferred).

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid on-prem/cloud deployments.

  • Strong understanding of networking, service discovery, and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).

  • Knowledge of container security and compliance frameworks (e.g., CIS Benchmarks, Aqua, Trivy).

  • Experience with service mesh solutions (Istio, Linkerd) in Kubernetes.

  • Exposure to telecom or lawful intercept environments.

  • Experience with data streaming platforms (Kafka) or real-time data processing.

  • Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Pulumi) and GitOps workflows (ArgoCD, Flux).

  • Certifications: CKA/CKAD, Rancher Certified Engineer, or relevant cloud certifications.
