Job Brief:Job site preparation and cleanup, setting up and removing access equipment, working on concrete and masonry, steel, wood and pre-cast erecting projects, cutting and removing concrete.


Responsibilities:Knowledge and use of various types of electric and gas powered tools such as chippers, Concrete drills, quick-cut saws, circular saws and reciprocating saws.


Skills Required:Knowledge of various structures such as residential, commercial and industrial buildings. • Knowledge and use of various types of electric and gas powered tools such as chippers, Concrete drills, quick-cut saws, circular saws and reciprocating saws. • Knowledge of safety documentation such as Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), Workplace • Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) and symbols. • Knowledge and use of various types of materials such as lumber, earth, piping, concrete and masonry units. • Knowledge of types of ladders such as extension, platform and stepladders with placement, 3-point contact, overhang and kick plates. • Concrete types, strengths, aggregates and properties, plasticizers and accelerators, ratios, mixing times and compatibilities as required. • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role. • General construction knowledge and experience required. • Experience in and understanding of the retail and commercial construction space. • Excellent accuracy and mathematical competency skills. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Must be organized, efficient and productive. • Able to work effectively with others in a team environment. • Valid License is mandatory
