Labourer

Shift Schedule: 5-2 (M-F) Option for Tuesday to Saturday

Duration of Position: Full-Time - 6 month contract to start

Hours Per Day: 8.5hrs/day

Scope Specific responsibilities, including, but not limited to:
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the CP Properties and Fleet.
• Coordinate fleet movement between sites, vendors, and the yard.
• Coordinate staff housing, including room turnover, arranging cleaners, preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Receive, inspect, store, and organize inventory for efficient operations.
• Rent out equipment and kits using a clear sign-out/return process.
• Provide logistical and administrative support to other CP Services departments.
• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation of stock discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-labeled storage environment to support efficient stock handling and retrieval.
• Track all rentals to ensure proper chargeback to internal departments or projects.
• Maintain and update an active vendor list related to equipment, rentals, and support services.
• Assist with routine CP Rentals administrative tasks, including scheduling, documentation, system entry, and record keeping.
• Perform monthly inspections of housing, Fleet, Fire extinguishers. Etc.
• All other tasks directed by Manager/Supervisor.

Skills & Experience
• Minimum 5 years experience in Inventory control/Warehousing
• Operate ½-ton and 1-ton trucks confidently, with the ability to navigate to remote job sites.
• Microsoft 365 proficiency

General Certifications Required:
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License
• Skid Steer Operator Certificate
• Up to date Drivers Abstract

General Safety Certifications Required:
• CSTS 2020
• WHMIS
• Standard First Aid
