Administrator Lakeview Recovery Community- Gunn, AB
*This position is onsite in Gunn, AB. 45 minutes NW of Edmonton.*

Located in Gunn, Alberta, Lakeview Recovery Community supports men living with addiction on their journey to a sustainable recovery. We deliver a full continuum of addiction recovery support in a community environment, focusing on healing and personal growth. Our goal is that individuals leave Lakeview with the life skills, tools, and resources to maintain long-term wellness and sustain recovery and having nurtured healthy relationships with friends and family.
Reporting to the Administration Manager, the Administrator will be an organized individual who will play a crucial role in providing administrative support across various functions, ensuring the smooth operation of our facility.
Role-specific Accountabilities
Handle day-to-day office tasks, including filing, document management, and office organization.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized office environment.
Manage incoming calls professionally and redirect them as necessary.
Provide excellent customer service through clear and courteous communication.
Interact with clients, staff, and visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner.
Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the office and around the site.
Demonstrate proficiency in using office software and communication tools.
Troubleshoot basic technical issues and liaise with IT support when necessary.
Assist in data entry, data verification, and maintenance of electronic records.
Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and up-to-date data management.
Manage petty cash and provide support in basic financial tasks.
Assist in tracking and organizing financial records.
Provide support in various areas around the facility as needed.
Collaborate with different teams to ensure the facility's overall efficiency.
Qualifications
Proven experience in general office administration.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent phone manners and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels.
Proficiency in using standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
Comfortable learning and adapting to new technologies.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Familiarity with database management systems is a plus.
Basic understanding of financial processes, including petty cash management.
Ability to work with basic financial documents.
Willingness to assist in various tasks and areas around the facility.
Adaptability in a dynamic and evolving work environment.
Conditions of Employment
Successfully complete and pass a Vulnerable Persons Criminal Record Check prior to initiating employment and annually thereafter.
