Located in Gunn, Alberta, Lakeview Recovery Community supports men living with addiction on their journey to a sustainable recovery. We deliver a full continuum of addiction recovery support in a community environment, focusing on healing and personal growth. Our goal is that individuals leave Lakeview with the life skills, tools, and resources to maintain long-term wellness and sustain recovery and having nurtured healthy relationships with friends and family.
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Manager of Operations plays a key role in overseeing day-to-day administration, staff supervision & training, and program coordination to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the community. This position also directly oversees the administrative teams at Lakeview, ensuring effective systems, processes, and supports are in place to maintain operational excellence.
Role-specific Accountabilities:
Oversee daily operational functions, including scheduling, logistics, and staff coordination, ensuring seamless delivery of services.
Supervise Support Team Leads, frontline staff, and administrative teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
Lead the administrative function at Lakeview, including oversight of client records, reporting, data management, and general office administration.
Support staff onboarding, training, and ongoing professional development, with a focus on non-clinical skills and service excellence.
Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and standards while maintaining accurate documentation and reporting.
Assist with program monitoring and evaluation by collecting data, preparing reports, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage vendor and service provider relationships, including contracts, supplies, and facility maintenance needs.
Provide administrative support for budgeting, payroll coordination, and expense tracking in collaboration with the Director.
Act as the operational point of contact during daily programming, addressing issues promptly and escalating concerns as needed.
Foster a positive, team-oriented workplace culture built on accountability, collaboration, and inclusivity.
Qualifications:
3+ years of management or supervisory experience, ideally in a health, social services, or recovery-focused environment.
Strong understanding of the Therapeutic Community Model.
Strong organizational and administrative skills, with proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience supervising both frontline and administrative teams, with a focus on performance, accountability, and staff development.
Demonstrated ability to mentor and train staff, with a focus on developing non-clinical and professional skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and administrative systems; experience with budgeting and reporting preferred.

Conditions of Employment
