• You are comfortable reading job plans, ordering materials and scheduling jobs.  


• You have a valid Class 5 Drivers License and are comfortable driving a truck, while pulling a trailer.


• You have experience operating a chainsaw and feel comfortable using one regularly.


• You are comfortable pruning trees and take pride in the skill. 


• You own your role in a company.  When you run into problems, you either solve them or think through possible solutions to suggest before calling for help.


• You have been in the green industry for years, and this is your trade. You take extreme pride in your work.

You'll stand out if you:

• Have advanced knowledge of landscape construction/maintenance techniques, practices and terminology.


• Have the ability to take direction, learn and work independently as well as part of a team


• Bring positive energy. accountability and attention to detail everyday
  


• Have previous experience in a role similar

This job requires:

• A valid Class 5 license & ability to drive truck and trailer


• Mid to advanced experience using common hand and power tools relative to light construction, lawn maintenance and snow removal


• Mid to advanced experience with property improvement landscape jobs like mulch, tree pruning, and other landscape construction 
  


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions
  


• Strong adherence to safety policies and protocol


• Legally authorized to work in Canada


• Ability to perform moderate to heavy tasks for extended periods of time in all weather conditions
  


• Ability to regularly lift, carry, push and pull weights of up to 50 - 100 lbs

Position Type & Schedule:  Full time with seasonal fluctuations – expect to be busier during spring/fall season changes, and slightly less in the middle of summer and winter.  Summer is Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday's, Winter is on-call.
