About the role

Do you love working outdoors, staying active, and seeing the results of your work every day? Whether you have landscaping experience or just hands-on labor experience, we want you on our maintenance team.

As a Landscape Junior Technician, you will work alongside skilled landscapers to maintain beautiful properties across Victoria. From mowing and pruning to keeping gardens healthy and tidy, your work will make a real difference in the community.

Responsibilities:

• Keep lawns, gardens, and green spaces looking their best through mowing, weeding, pruning, and cleanups


• Learn landscaping skills including plant care, identification, and seasonal maintenance


• Assist across different landscaping projects and divisions


• Safely operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools


• Follow safety guidelines and keep your work environment clean and organized


• Help with seasonal tasks such as snow and ice management in the winter

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in landscaping is a plus but not required.


• Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.


• Physical fitness and the ability to perform outdoor labor. (Ability to stand, walk, bend and stoop for extended period in a fast – paced environment with repetitive tasks)
  


• Enthusiasm for working in an outdoor environment.


• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.


• Drivers License Class 5 is an asset

Compensation 

$20-$25 per hour depending on skills and experience.

Schedule:

• Regular: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM 


• Seasonal Hours (April 13 to September 27, 2026):
  Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (4 day a week 10 hour a day schedule)

Work Location: Different Greater Victoria work sites.
