This position reports to

Segments & Account Mgmt and Sales

Your role and responsibilities

Reporting to the National Sales Director, the Large Motor & Generator Sales Engineer, targets, coordi-nates and execute sales strategies for the Original Equipment Manufacturers Segment to meet and exceed sales targets by creating added value for the customer and ABB, with a clear focus on increas-ing market share, profitability, and customer satisfaction. • Promote the sales of Variable Frequency Large Motor & Generator in different Market seg-ments. • Leading the development and implementation of the account plan and growth actions for Ma-jor Accounts. • Create, implement, and execute sales and account strategy to meet and exceed regional sales targets. • Monitoring, market trend and competitor activity and ensuring appropriate action is taken. • Build and maintain strong relationships at all levels with key customers as well as market in-fluencers. • Develop and support synergies with other ABB business lines and develop joint pursuits to leverage existing ABB customer relationships. • Account management. • Ensures that the major accounts in the segments are identified and prioritized. • Maps market requirements and opportunities to actions for ABB and coordinates with Divi-sions, Sales units, and other relevant teams (such as Group/Strategic Account teams, ...etc.) to implement these. • Identify, map, convert and onboard new account in BC and Alberta.

Qualifications for the role

  • B.Eng, Electrical Motor with experience in technical selling is an asset
  • You enjoy working with System Drives or Large motors and the Energy (Chemical, Oil and Gas) market
  • You have {5} years of experience in Energy (Chemical, Oil and Gas)
  • Highly adept in technical sales of large Drives & Motors
  • You are innovative around energy market trends and end-user account development
  • You are at ease communicating in English
