Position: Lawn Maintenance , Garbage & Litter Collection

We’re seeking motivated individuals to join our team in a unique role that combines lawn maintenance with garbage and litter collection. If you take pride in keeping spaces clean, safe, and beautiful, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

This is an independent position. You’ll operate a company pickup truck and trailer, following a daily plan set by the manager to complete tasks efficiently.

Lawn Care and Grounds Maintenance:

• Mow lawns using push mowers and ride-on mowers, ensuring even cuts and defined edges.


• Trim and edge grass around walkways, flower beds, and fences using trimmers and edgers.


• Rake, blow, and collect grass clippings and leaves for disposal or composting.


• Inspect grounds for potential hazards (e.g., uneven terrain, debris) and report findings to the supervisor.


• Maintain and clean all lawn equipment (e.g., mowers, trimmers) after use.

 Garbage and Litter Pickup:

• Collect garbage and litter from designated areas, including parking lots, walkways, and landscaped areas.


• Properly dispose of waste materials, including recycling and hazardous items as per company guidelines.


• Ensure garbage bins are emptied, cleaned, and secured.


• Maintain cleanliness around dumpster areas and report any overflowing or damaged bins.


• Document and report any illegal dumping or large debris that requires special disposal.

Water Feature Maintenance:

• Open and close water features (e.g., fountains, ponds, decorative pools) at the start and end of the season.


• Inspect and clean water features, removing debris and ensuring proper water flow.


• Monitor water levels, pumps, and filters, and report malfunctions to the supervisor.


• Add chemicals (e.g., chlorine, algaecide) as required, following safety guidelines.


• Drain and winterize water features in preparation for colder months.

Independent Work and Reporting:

• Work independently to complete scheduled tasks across multiple properties.


• Follow task schedules and prioritize duties based on seasonal needs and property requirements.


• Communicate any observed hazards, maintenance issues, or completed tasks to the supervisor promptly.


• Maintain accurate records of completed tasks and report any incidents or equipment issues.
