Lead Agro Customer Service Associate

Location: Home Centre Vanderhoof, BC

Job Overview: Reporting to the Hardware Manager you will be responsible to: 

• Demonstrate Four Rivers Co-operative’s values of Responsibility, Integrity, Service, and Excellence in everything you do

• Maintain Four Rivers Co-op’s high standards for customer service
• Work co-operatively with team members and customers
• Serve customers on the till in a timely manner while accepting multiple methods of payment
• Stock shelves and merchandising products as required
• General housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and organized store

What You Bring:

• Familiarity with hardware, agricultural, feed and minerals or livestock products is considered an asset
• Strong computer skills, including experience working with point-of-sale systems
• An adaptable and organized approach, with the ability to work efficiently and follow through on commitments
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative, team-focused attitude
• The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy work environment
• Careful attention to detail and a focus on delivering quality work
• The physical ability to safely lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Previous customer service experience is an asset
• A strong commitment to maintaining a safe workplace
• A motivated, results-focused approach and pride in performing your best
• The ability to build positive working relationships, collaborate with others, and value different perspectives when working toward shared goals
