Lead Hand

Drake Internationalis currently sourcing candidates for our client, to work in the Halifax area. The successful candidate must have reliable transportation and 1+ years of experience in warehouse/Logistics.

This individual will support our day shift operations, Monday to Friday with flexibility to work other shifts as required.

• Participate in all administrative and operational functions as directed by the Sr Operations Manager and/or Team Lead
• Assist and communicate with internal and external Clients to ensure that inquiries and reporting commitments are met
• Execute systemic components of receiving, replen, waving and closing out orders
• Generate reports that provide visibility into status and performance of the operation
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert, assist employees with troubleshooting
• Monitor activities to ensure they are completed accurately and in a timely manner
• Responsible for accuracy of daily reporting as well as maintaining order and delivery management
• Perform investigations where required
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Sr Operations Manager and/or Team Lead
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment
• Demonstrated customer service capabilities
• Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills including email etiquette
• Ability to analyze, plan, organize and prioritize effectively
• Proficiency using Microsoft office applications
• Post-secondary education and/or a combination of relevant experience and education
• Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment required
• Flexibility to work other shifts when required
