About The Role.

As a Packaging Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and safe operation of the Packaging area, including rework and palletizing. You will play a critical role in driving performance, ensuring compliance with safety and HACCP standards, and developing team capability while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

What You’ll Be Doing.

• Oversee daily operations within the Packaging area, including rework and palletizing activities
• Monitor, record, and analyze equipment issues; collaborate with maintenance and technical teams to resolve them
• Liaise with mechanical and electrical coaches based on daily meeting insights and system data to drive timely corrective actions
• Communicate effectively with employees and management to ensure alignment on priorities and performance
• Ensure full compliance with HACCP guidelines, policies, and documentation requirements
• Train, coach, and mentor new and existing employees, ensuring capability across all roles including rework and palletizing
• Promote and support continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Sigma and Kaizen events
• Actively support and participate in MDI practices and processes
• Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information
• Work collaboratively with team members and leadership to achieve production goals while managing multiple priorities
  
  

What You’ll Need To Be Successful.

• Grade 12 diploma or GED (mandatory)
• Demonstrated leadership and team development skills
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Experience working in high-pressure situations with a positive and solution-focused mindset
• Knowledge or experience with SAP, Kronos, and WMS (considered an asset)
• Strong commitment to safety, with a proven “Safety First” mindset
• Ability to uphold company code of conduct and maintain confidentiality
• Proven ability to collaborate, problem-solve, and drive change in a team environment

You will be part of the Packaging operations team, working closely with cross-functional partners including maintenance, leadership, and production teams. The role plays a key part in ensuring operational excellence and developing frontline capability within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Compensation Package: - Starting at 27.41 CAD hourly + Bonus eligibility + Hourly Pay Differential for applicable shifts
