Job Description - Lead HVAC Technician Commercial Retrofit & Maintenance

OTT Landmark currently manages a robust development pipeline of over 5 million square feet of residential and mixed-use projects across the Greater Toronto Area, as well as more than 3,000 acres of resort development land in the Georgian Bay region.
We are undertaking a comprehensive mechanical and HVAC retrofit as part of a major facility conversion project in North York. The work covers full replacement and commissioning of rooftop and air-handling units, ventilation upgrades, and long-term maintenance planning. We are seeking a licensed HVAC Technician to lead the technical execution and ensure reliable, efficient operation throughout both the retrofit and ongoing maintenance phases.

How you will contribute:
Perform retrofit, installation, and commissioning of HVAC and ventilation systems.
Inspect, clean, and service major rooftop and air-handling units as part of preventive maintenance.
Diagnose and repair refrigeration, mechanical, and control system faults.
Replace or calibrate components such as motors, valves, compressors, and sensors.
Coordinate with electrical and controls contractors to ensure code compliance and safety.
Support BAS (Building Automation System) monitoring and performance optimization.
Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and parts inventory.
Conduct seasonal start-up and shutdown procedures following company safety and best- practice guidelines.
Support emergency or high-priority maintenance tasks as needed.
