The Municipality of Chatham-Kent has an opening for a permanent part-time Library Page with the Chatham-Kent Public Library.
Job description
The Page’s primary responsibility is to ensure that the library collections are returned to their proper location. This includes re-shelving, emptying book drops, preparing newspapers for public use, receiving materials from other library locations. This position also provides general clean up duties indoors and outdoors.

Successful candidates will be required to complete a background check prior to commencement of employment. A background check may include the following: education/certification verification and employment reference check. Because of the environment this position will be working in, the successful candidate will be required to furnish an original Police Information Search (Vulnerable Sector Check) prior to commencement of employment.

This permanent part-time position has an hourly wage of $17.72 will receive vacation and statutory benefits in accordance with Employment Standards Act.
