Perform preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment in accordance with standardized procedures
Programs and maintains PLC’s, ensuring that programming meets the requirements established for the effective operation of production equipment.
Operate within a multi-skilled environment to maintain the plant’s machinery and equipment, while improving processes to minimize disruption to the production line
Connects wiring and hydraulic lines to install electrical and hydraulic components
Preparing and maintaining records of program changes, building electrical upgrades and equipment electrical upgrades. Maintain daily record of work completed.
Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing to professionally install new equipment.
Perform other maintenance duties as assigned to meet departmental responsibilities
Ideal Qualifications:
442A Industrial Electrician Certificate or 309A Electrician – Construction and Maintenance Certificate
Ability to troubleshoot and maintain electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Background in troubleshooting PLC and computer controlled equipment
Experienced with control wiring and trouble shooting.
