Licensed Practical Nurse (Casual)

We are looking for a compassionate and caring *Licensed Practical Nurse* to join our amazing care team in one of our beautiful assisted living and long term care facilities, *Heritage Square.**Facility Address: *3904 - 27th St, Vernon, BC, V1T 4X7
*Position Details: *Casual; Create & control your own schedule
*Compensation: *Starting at *$31.89 per hour**Responsibilities** Performs assessments.
* Plans, implements, and provides personal and nursing care to residents.
* Administers oral and subcutaneous medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures
* Directly supervises care staff to meet resident's needs.
* Performs other duties as assigned. *Qualifications** Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
* Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC.
* Current CPR and First Aid certification.
* Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
* Knowledge and background in Dementia care (preferred).
