Lawson Lundell LLP is seeking a mid-level associate to join our established and growing litigation practice in Yellowknife. We are looking for someone who wants to get on their feet in court, and work independently on a wide variety of files. We have a broad litigation practice and files would include commercial litigation, administrative law, employment, and child protection.

Our Yellowknife office has the best of both worlds: a small collegial firm environment with the resources and client base of a large, well-respected western Canadian law firm. You will receive dedicated mentorship with senior lawyers and be supported to build connections with lawyers from the firm’s other offices. Additionally, you will enjoy a large degree of responsibility and independence in your litigation practice.
Required qualifications:

• Two to six years of relevant litigation experience
• Commitment to legal excellence
• Dedication to providing practical, cost-effective solutions for our clients
• Experience in and connection to the North considered an asset
