ASSA ABLOY Door Security Solutions provides end-users (healthcare facilities, schools, universities, military, commercial buildings, etc.) with unsurpassed security and life-safety solutions and the essential support services (LEED consultation, code compliance, access control system integration, product research and selection, specification writing services, technical support, etc.) to ensure well-functioning doorway systems in the commercial building industry. This is all accomplished by combining the strengths of industry-leading door and hardware brands.


 


Great news! We are currently seeking a Logistics and Documentation Specialist that will be based at our Vaughan Headquarters. This role will be a 6-month contract.


 


As a Logistics and Documentation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and streamlining our business processes. This position requires a strong background in ERP systems, advanced Excel skills, and exceptional organizational abilities. You will be responsible for coordinating with transport providers, consolidating customs paperwork, managing purchase orders, and handling a large volume of documents. This role is essential for ensuring efficient operations and compliance with audit requirements.


 


Job Summary


 


Responsibilities:


 



  • Work with transport providers to obtain Bill of Ladings and tracking paperwork.

  • Collaborate with brokers and use broker portals to consolidate customs paperwork.

  • Detail multiple purchase orders per order from each factory, collating all necessary paperwork, HTS codes, and country of origin (COO) per item.

  • Handle a large volume of documents and paperwork, grouping and organizing them for future audit purposes.

  • Accumulate and group sales order documents electronically.

  • Other duties as assigned.


 


Key Competencies


 



  • Proven experience with ERP systems.

  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong ability to handle and organize large volumes of documents.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Knowledge of HTS codes.

The estimated expected salary range for this role is $55K-60K per annum.
