The Logistics & Shipping Associate is responsible for executing daily shipping, receiving, and material handling activities to ensure timely and accurate movement of goods. This role supports domestic and international shipments, maintains documentation accuracy, and contributes to efficient warehouse operations while upholding quality, compliance, and safety standards.

Shipping & Receiving
Prepare, package, and ship domestic and international orders in accordance with company procedures and applicable regulations.
Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders; inspect materials for accuracy and damage.
Create and maintain shipping documents including packing slips, commercial invoices, certificates of origin, and customsârelated paperwork.
Coordinate pickups and deliveries with couriers, freight providers, and thirdâparty logistics partners.
Maintain accurate records within the ERP/WMS system.
Logistics Coordination
Track shipments, resolve delays, and communicate status updates to internal stakeholders.
Assist in optimizing freight costs by selecting appropriate carriers and shipping methods.
Support customs clearance activities by ensuring proper documentation and compliance with import/export regulations.
Warehouse Operations
Conduct routine inventory counts and cycle checks; update system quantities accordingly.
Organize and maintain warehouse space, ensuring efficient material flow and adherence to 5S practices.
Operate materialâhandling equipment (e.g., pallet jack, forklift) safely and efficiently.
Quality & Compliance
Follow and uphold company procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, customs, transportation regulations).
Support audits related to shipping, receiving, and inventory controls.
Report nonâconformances and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Safety
Comply with all company Health & Safety policies and guidelines.
Immediately report unsafe conditions or incidents to management.
Your Unique Expertise
Required skills:
High school diploma
2–4 years of experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse logistics
Proficient with ERP/WMS systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
Strong understanding of shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL, LTL freight)
Ability to read and interpret shipping documents, labels, and part numbers
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
Effective communication and problemâsolving abilities
Ability to lift , carry and put away material safely
Preferred skills:
College diploma in supply chain, logistics, or related field
Experience with international shipping and customs documentation
Forklift certification
