They are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Manager to join our team and lead their logistics efforts in a one-person department.

The Logistics Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the logistics operations of the company. This role involves managing the entire logistics process once the buy is done, ensuring that all activities are executed efficiently and cost-effectively. As a one-person department, the Logistics Manager will handle all logistics tasks independently, with a focus on improving processes and maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage logistics operations, including inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and delivery.


• Coordinate and schedule shipments, ensuring timely delivery to customers and clients.


• Handle the procurement of materials and supplies, negotiating with suppliers to achieve the best terms.


• Inventory Management:Monitor and maintain inventory levels to prevent shortages or excesses.Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.Implement inventory control systems to optimize stock levels.


• Documentation and Compliance:Prepare and maintain accurate records of all logistics activities, including shipping documents, invoices, and inventory reports.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including safety and environmental guidelines.


• Process Improvement:Identify opportunities for improving logistics processes and implement best practices.Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics efficiency and reduce costs.


• Customer Service:Address and resolve any logistics-related issues or concerns from customers or clients.Maintain excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a smooth logistics operation.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. Sea Can and Trucking experience required.


• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.


• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.


• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.


• Familiarity with logistics regulations and compliance standards.


• High attention to detail and accuracy.


• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  
  
  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field.
  
  
  • Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCMP).
