Key Responsibilities 

• The installation and removal / replacement of water, sump and slurry piping services as required. 


• Prep for longhole blasting including installing vent curtains


• Must be able to operate underground mobile equipment including scissordecks, blockholer and service vehicles. 


• Operate/maintain slurry plant for cemented rock filling


• Must be able to read and understand mining prints 


• Other duties as assigned by the Frontline Supervisor

Training and Education 

• High School Diploma 


• Basic Underground Common Core (U0000, U0001, U0002 and U0012)

• Minimum of three (3) years mining experience


• Fall arrest training


• Lifting Mechanisms


• Heavy machinery experience an asset

• Good Safety and attendance record 


• Team Orientated 

Working Conditions

11 hour shifts
