Qualicare Homecare is looking for compassionate, caring, and reliable individuals to join our family as LPNs/RPNs.  Qualicare location offers home care services and Staffing services to long term care and assissted living facilities that focus on providing the best quality of life for our clients and peace of mind for their families in Kamloops and surrounding areas.



Job Summary
We are seeking reliable, dedicated, and skilled Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a part of our staffing agency, you will be placed in various long-term care facilities across Kamloops area to provide temporary, contract, or permanent support. Your role will involve delivering direct patient care, administering medications, and ensuring the highest standard of care for residents in diverse healthcare settings. This is an excellent opportunity for LPNs who prefer flexibility in their work schedule, enjoy variety, and are committed to delivering compassionate care.
Responsibilities 

  • Provides direct patient care 

  • Provides accurate, detailed, and timely documentation

  • Conducts ongoing assessments

  • Prepares, administers and appropriately documents actions taken specific to medications

  • Performs all skills, treatments, and procedures competently in accordance with the provincial scope of practice

  • Follows principles of infection control and Universal Precautions

Qualifications

  • Current certificate of competence and good standing 

  • Certified in CPR

  • Strong clinical skills

  • Negative TB test or chest x-ray

  • Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision

  • Excellent customer service skills 

Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach,
twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required
depending on the ability of the client. Must be able to lift
up to 50 pounds. Visual and hearing acuity required.



Compensation: $40.00 per hour
