Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nThe Machine Operator\u2019s (Bus Feeder) primary function is to setup and operate fabrication equipment used for the production of parts for standard and custom panel boards \u0026 switch boards to support both internal and external customers.\n\nPosition Overview: \n\u2022 Safely operate Machine(s) (including shearing, punching and bending) based on on-the-job training, standardized operating procedures, detailed work instructions and manufacturer\u2019s requirements. \n\u2022 Pre-start safety check for machine and supporting equipment and advise supervisor of any concerns. \n\u2022 Perform simple preventative maintenance tasks as required. \n\u2022 Setup machine to ensure all guards/interlocks/light curtains are in working order and pinch points and/or potential hazards are eliminated. \n\u2022 Run and operate Dynamic Machine Management software (DMM). \n\u2022 Run and operate drawing vault software (Enovia, Vault etc.) to view and print drawings for fabrication purposes. Work from drawings, sketches, manufacturing information to determine dimensions as well as from written or verbal instruction from supervisor. \n\u2022 Determine the sequence of operations and feed material through machine. \n\u2022 Ensure completed production orders are kept in an organized manner; through utilizing proper bin selection, tagging, pallet sizes and routed to the next operation. \n\u2022 Monitor operation of machines to clear blockage, prevent jams and breakage and assure adequate lubrication of feed stock. \n\u2022 Perform other duties as assigned.\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications: \n\u2022 Completed high school diploma. \n\u2022 Minimum one year of fabrication experience operating at least one of the following: shearing, punching and/or bending machines. \n\u2022 Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship. \n\u2022 No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.
