Job Description - Mainframe Developer - Public Sector - Must have Security Clearance

Contract opportunity in the public sector for a Mainframe Developer. Must have previous public sector contract experience and current Enhanced Reliability Security Clearance.

The Mainframe Consultant may be responsible for but is not limited to;

Installing and configuring system software

Designing and coding new applications to run on the mainframe

Introduction and management of new workloads on the system, such as batch jobs and online transaction processing

Operation and maintenance of the mainframe software and hardware

Requirements

Must Have:

Mainframe

COBOL

MQ series

Security Clearance â Enhanced Reliability

Nice to Have:

Mainframe Developer

CICS

Z/OS

Easytrieve

Assembly Language

File-Aid

Xpeditor

Endevor

Changeman

VSAM
