Position Overview

HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting a hands-on Maintenance Millwright for a thriving food manufacturing facility in Langley. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment where no two days are the same. If you're experienced with troubleshooting complex systems, fabricating parts, and keeping production lines running like clockwork we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose and repair mechanical breakdowns across pneumatic, hydraulic, and power transmission systems

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals for repairs and installations

• Perform routine preventative and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime

• Operate lathes, milling machines, and welding tools for part fabrication and repair work

• Maintain production equipment to meet safety, sanitation, and performance standards

• Collaborate with operations staff to ensure seamless production support during runtime

• Participate in equipment improvement projects to boost safety, performance, and longevity

• Complete detailed work orders using a computerized maintenance system (CMMS)

• Ensure your work area remains clean, organized, and hazard-free

• Follow all lockout/tagout (LOTO), food safety, and occupational safety procedures

What You Bring

Red Seal certification (preferred)
Minimum 3 years' experience in a high-speed production setting
Strong knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
Skilled with machining, fabrication, and various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, ARC)
Comfortable with preventative maintenance protocols
Basic computer proficiency (Excel, Outlook)
Strong team player with a collaborative attitude and clear communication skills
Self-driven with a knack for solving problems under pressure

Nice to Have

Experience in the food manufacturing sector
Basic electrical knowledge
Exposure to lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives
