We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their maintenance team at the Metcalfe facility. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering stability, competitive pay, and excellent benefits.

Responsibilities
The Industrial Mechanic will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and optimal performance of production machinery, equipment, and systems.

Key responsibilities include:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical systems and components
  


• Lead and execute preventive maintenance activities
  


• Adjust, install, and align equipment to ensure smooth operation
  


• Support mechanical shutdowns, record keeping, and parts inventory management
  


• Participate in continuous improvement and safety initiatives
  


• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  

Qualifications

• Diploma in Industrial Mechanics or Electromechanics (or equivalent experience)
  


• Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting
  


• Strong knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
  


• Hands-on experience with machining and welding (arc/TIG)
  


• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and schematics
  


• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  


• Electrical competency considered an asset
