Maintenance Technician / Handyperson – Edmonton, Alberta

Larlyn Property Management is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Maintenance Technician / Handyperson. As a Maintenance Technician / Handyperson,  to oversee all maintenance at a large condominium site located in south east Edmonton.

Daily general maintenance tasks include:

• Basic electrical work


• Basic plumbing work


• Knowledge of boilers and how they should work, and be able to note issues and call the contractor


• Pool operator license or willing to take course


• Repairs in suite and common property


• Minor painting

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the maintenance or construction industry


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of site staff team


• Proven ability to provide professional and reliable service to clients and residents


• Valid driver’s licence


• Reliable vehicle 


• Some tools on site


• Availability to respond to after-hours emergency call-outs as required – on rotation with site manager – on call one week, off call one week
