Maintenance Welder

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Maintenance Welder to join our team in Edmonton. This role is shop\u2011based and supports daily fabrication, repair, and maintenance activities using established SLB welding procedures. For more information about SLB please visit slb.com.\n\nJob Responsibilities\n\n * Perform welding and grinding activities in accordance with SLB welding procedures and quality standards.\n * Read and interpret drawings and work instructions as required for each job.\n * Operate manual and semi\u2011automatic welding equipment as applicable.\n * Conduct pre\u2011use inspections of tools and equipment before starting work.\n * Set up and position materials using appropriate tooling and equipment.\n * Support material handling activities, including the use of forklifts and cranes.\n * Follow all QHSE policies, procedures, and safety requirements.\n * Communicate safety, process, and efficiency improvement opportunities within the shop.\n * Work collaboratively with other welders and shop personnel.\n\n\n\nMinimum Job Qualifications\n\n * High school diploma.\n * B\u2011Pressure certification (required).\n * Previous welding experience in a shop or industrial environment is considered an asset.\n * Forklift and overhead crane experience is considered an asset (training can be provided).\n * Ability to work in a physically demanding shop environment.\n * Strong focus on safety, teamwork, and quality.\n * Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in Canada, without sponsorship.\n\n\n\nSchlumberger Canada Limited is committed to workplace diversity and employment equity and supports initiatives to enhance employment opportunities for local workforces and Indigenous Persons.\n\n#LI-DB1\n\n.\n
