- Building, leading, coaching, and guiding a high performing team of Technical Commercialization Specialists who manage the buy ready and production ready process at our factories
- Managing workload between team members and calendar requirements to ensure timelines are met throughout the commercialization process
- Leading, training, and guiding a team of commercialization specialists to improve scalability, efficiency, and quality in our manufacturing base
- Managing the new model product specification process from fit approval to bulk production enabling the accurate planning of raw materials to meet our quality and delivery expectations
- Ensuring the seasonal carryover and transition process supports Supply Chain team needs and seasonal updates are met
- Managing processes and planning workload to ensure timelines are met to support delivery expectations
- Reporting and driving improvement on key performance metrics that deliver speed, quality, cost, and efficiency
- Reporting team performance metrics regularly to management team (e.g., product category execution against the corporate calendar, workflow, team capacity vs seasonal requirements)
- Managing the standard documentation process to provide sufficient detail to accurately produce finish goods, maintain an accurate database of BOM (Bill of Materials) information, aid raw material commitments and support Quality processes
- Supporting with the building of direct development to extend our development capacity and ensure Arc’teryx continues to achieve state of the art opportunities for product innovation
- Proposing sourcing strategies for your product category to optimize total product cost, support margin, and best utilize supply chain capabilities and efficiencies
- Partnering with Sourcing and their strategy to provide recommendation for the seasonal model allocation for your product category.
- Supporting Sourcing partners on the assessment of new factories needed to support growth, category expansion and flexibility in our supply chain
- Supporting the product development creation process
- Partnering with Design, Product Creation Development, Supply Chain, and our external vendors to provide continuous improvements in speed, scalability, efficiency, and consistency in our development to manufacturing process
- Providing the seasonal timeline targets and delivery plan for your product and/or factory portfolio
- Working with the Product Integrity team to ensure our vendor base understands, utilizes and supports the evolution of construction standards
- Supporting the Compliance team in ensuring all testing requirements are consistently met
- Building strong partnerships with our vendor base ensuring our expectations of our Product Creation and Commercialization process are clear and deliverables achievable in the expected time
- Upholding Fair Labor Association’s Workplace Code of Conduct and Principles of Fair Labor and Responsible Sourcing throughout the Arc’teryx supply chain
- Working closely with the Amer Sports Global Sourcing Vendor Sustainability team on quarterly business reviews and training/capacity building
- Adhering to negotiated lead times and balanced annual capacities to expedite responsible purchasing practices as outlined in the Responsible Sourcing Policy

Are you our next Manager, Commercialization?
- You have a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Apparel or Textile Design, Technology, Merchandising, or Engineering
- You have 8+ years’ experience in sourcing, design, development, production, or merchandising, ideally including 3+ years’ experience in people leadership
- You have a strong knowledge of apparel construction, material construction and properties, pattern making, costing, bill of materials, embroidery, and surface applications
- You have proven skills in problem solving, interpreting design intent and product innovation
- You have proven performance history with domestic and offshore vendors and manufacturers
- You have strong verbal and written communication skills
- You have an extreme attention to detail
- You are able to travel globally, as needed, to support the business expectations
- You have strong prioritization skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- You have strong computer skills in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office
- You set a clear vision, align your team around common objectives, and foster commitment to these objectives
- You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
- You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
