Responsibilities

• Providing a range of leadership services, including the review and supervision of month‑end close processes and support for accounting operations;

• Translating client challenges into opportunities for tactical improvement and developing requirements from a strategic perspective;

• Advising and supporting clients on various projects, such as year‑end closings, mergers and acquisitions processes, system changes, and the review of internal procedures and processes;

• Preparing and implementing financial reports, including budgets, performance indicators, and dashboards;

• Managing client cash flows and ensuring effective cost control;

• Supporting and mentoring less experienced team members;

• Monitoring the progress of ongoing engagements while identifying opportunities to address additional client needs; and

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and team members to foster collaboration.

Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting option or other accounting training. 


• 5 to 7 years of consulting experience having managed Finance transformation or process improvement projects


• 
  
  CPA designation obtained or in progress is considered an asset
  
  


• Extensive experience with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., Sage, SAP, QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics, Business Central, etc.);


• Excellent communication, writing, facilitation, and presentation skills;


• Ability to work in both English and French, as we serve unilingual English‑speaking clients.
