About the Role:
We’re looking for a sharp, strategic thinker to join our Investments team. As Manager, Investments, you’ll lead financial analysis, build models, and deliver insights that shape key decisions. You’ll support high-impact initiatives, ensure data accuracy, and help drive our investment strategy forward. Key Responsibilities:
Manage and analyze financial and project data from internal systems.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate asset performance and support data-driven decision-making.
Oversee the creation of financial reports and forecasts for land development, housing, and rental assets.
Maintain cash flow models and ensure capital stack sufficiency across the portfolio.
Lead and mentor a team of analysts.
Supervise the preparation of budgets and project-level pro formas.
Drive process improvements through automation and standardized reporting.
Lead ERP system enhancements and workflow optimization.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team.
About You:
Post-secondary education in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
5–10 years of experience in financial analysis or modeling (real estate experience is a plus).
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and financial modeling.
Experience with real estate systems such as Yardi or NewStar is an asset.
Familiarity with SQL or VBA for data analysis and automation is preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in financial modeling tools (e.g., Excel, Argus) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI) is preferred.
Proficient in handling and interpreting large datasets.
Curious, proactive, and open to challenging existing processes.
