The Manager, Privacy will be responsible for supporting the Chief Privacy Officer in providing strategic privacy guidance across the organization, including overseeing a Privacy Specialist. This role requires profound knowledge of international privacy and data protection laws, strong analytical and research capabilities — including the ability to conduct research in multiple languages
This role requires extensive compliance expertise, including strong knowledge of record retention obligations, records of processing activities, and a high level of attention to detail. The successful candidate will have significant experience independently conducting Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), Vendor Risk Assessments (VRAs), and Transfer Impact Assessments (TIAs), as well as identifying and mitigating privacy and regulatory risks. The role also requires strong technical proficiency, including the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, systems, and privacy tools in a self-directed manner. Responsibilities include advising on the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information and profiles, operationalizing Privacy by Design principles, supporting incident response and breach management activities, and exercising sound judgment and independent decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
A strong understanding of systems, data flows, and operational processes is required, along with proven experience supporting customer service environments and handling matters involving high-net-worth and luxury clientele with professionalism and confidentiality. Experience liaising with government bodies and law enforcement agencies is also required, including responding to requests for information and managing sensitive or high-risk matters with sound judgment and attention to detail.

Hiring Range / Échelle salariale à l’embauche :$115,000.00 - $135,000.00 / 115.000,00$ - 135.000,00$ (per year / par an)Final compensation for this position will be determined based on the candidate's unique skills, expertise, individual qualifications, and assessed contributions to the role following the completion of the interview process. The range stated is the starting range for this position. Offers may vary with experience, qualifications, performance, and local market conditions.
