Manager, Tenant Relations

Role Impact:

The Tenant Relations Manager plays an integral role in representing CF as a key contact in maintaining strong tenant relationships. In this role, the Tenant Relations Manager works collaboratively to create a highly engaged and positive tenant experience so that CF can continue to excel as an industry leader in customer service. 

What you will deliver:

• Represent CF as a key contact in maintaining positive and professional relationships with tenants


• Work collaboratively  with corporate functions, Senior Property Management, operations, project management, leasing, legal, security and life safety, accounts receivable, and third party contractors, to initiate any necessary action to ensure CF maintains strong tenant relations in accordance with the lease


• Partner with projects and leasing teams to actively track all new lease deals, relevant key leasing dates to ensure a seamless move in or move out process


• Support new, and existing tenants, on all aspects of move-ins/move-outs according to lease obligations


• Deliver a best-in-class service and tenant experience through regular tenant meeting rhythms, ad hoc tenant meetings and requests, service initiatives and tenant events


• Responsible for annual client reviews with key tenants, including addressing follow up action items


• Working with the tenant relations team,  assist in crafting relevant tenant communications and updates


• Support annual property project initiatives to improve the tenant experience and education, i.e. Sustainability, etc.


• Enforce and augment the rules and regulations of TD Centre through regular communication with tenants each day to ensure their expectations are being met and landlord criteria are being honored so that CF can excel within the industry


• Protect CF property through correspondence with tenants, Head Office, suppliers and Municipal offices, seeking legal and other relevant advice available to the landlord


• Ensure maximum security for the complex and minimal impact and disruption to tenants by being available during non-working hours to deal with emergency situations, and incidents, should they occur (i.e. flooding, power outages fire, theft and other threats)


• Other responsibilities may be assigned from time to time.

 What you need to succeed:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; college certificate/diploma in a related field


• Minimum 5 years management experience preferred with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity in a large office environment


• Proven working experience in a client-facing environment with exceptional customer service approach

Starting base salary for this job level may range from $81,433 to $108,577. The actual base salary offered will consider several factors including, but not limited to the role, experiences, skills & qualifications, location, market and internal considerations; with this context, CF reserves the right to pay above this range. Cadillac Fairview offers a competitive total rewards package in addition to base pay which may include a performance – based incentive plan, a comprehensive pension and benefits plan, paid time off including vacation, well-being & volunteer days and support for continued growth and development.
