Located in Brampton, Ontario, ON Salary: $28.00/hour One of our metal manufacturing clients is looking for full-time Manual Flatbed Truck drivers. The best candidates will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience with an AZ license and clean driver's abstract.Monday-Friday - 5:00AM-5:00PMPaid weekly on payroll (no exceptions)Pay Rate: $28/hour.Duties Loading and Unloading cargo, ensuring securement that includes tarping and strapping loadsSafely operate a commercial truck to transport goods and materials to and from specified destinationsFollow all traffic laws and regulations while drivingInspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, and brakesPlan routes and meet schedulesCommunicate with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers to ensure efficient delivery operationsAdhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety, vehicle operation, and customer service. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (AZ) with a clean driving recordMust have experience driving a Manual Flatbed truck.Flexibility to work long hoursProven experience as a truck driver or in a similar roleKnowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is a plusStrong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with colleaguesExcellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.Physical fitness to perform tasks such as lifting and securing heavy loadsAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.
