This position will be an onsite role based out of our manufacturing site in Milton, Ontario. \n \nWhat will you do? \n\u2022 Project Management: Plan, execute, and oversee projects aimed at developing new manufacturing processes or enhancing existing ones. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage project resources effectively. \n\u2022 Process Optimization: Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement. Develop and implement optimized workflows and protocols to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and lower operational costs. \n\u2022 Vendor Collaboration: Engage with vendors and suppliers to evaluate and integrate new technologies, tools, or machinery into the production environment. \n\u2022 Industry Engagement: Stay actively involved in industry conferences, events, and professional networks to keep up with trends and advancements in manufacturing technology. Apply industry knowledge to drive innovation and maintain competitive edge. \n\u2022 Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge. \n\u2022 Compliance and Safety: Ensure all manufacturing processes and practices comply with relevant safety regulations and industry standards. Promote a safe working environment and implement measures to prevent accidents and injuries. \n\u2022 Collaboration: Foster collaboration with engineering, design, and production teams to ensure seamless manufacturing processes. Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications: \n\n\u2022 College diploma or university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Advance Manufacturing, Automation \u0026 Controls, or a related field. \n\u2022 Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing, automation and/or IT project development. \n\u2022 Experience with Lean and project management tools. \n\u2022 Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship. \n\u2022 No moving (relocation) is offered for this position. \n \n\n\nPreferred Qualifications: \n\u2022 Experience in machine controls, sensors, motors, programming, data extraction and analytics.\n\n\u2022 Experience with Six Sigma tools. \n\u2022 Experience in sheet metal industry (Punching, Laser cutting, forming)\n\n\u2022 Proficient with computer and software tools \u2013 including advanced Excel capabilities (pivots, macros, etc.), MS-Project, Minitab, SQL, and at least one programming language. \n\n\u2022 Experience working with Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.\n\nWhat will make you successful? \n \nThe successful candidate will possess experience managing projects from design to implementation stage including hands-on testing and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment. They should demonstrate a robust understanding of manufacturing, tools, safety and quality and be able to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
