Manufacturing Mechanic

The Manufacturing Mechanic will support the operation and maintenance of machinery within our manufacturing facility. This role will be responsible for the inspection, repair, and preventive maintenance of machines critical to our production workflow. The ideal candidate will have hands-on mechanical experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment and a strong commitment to safety and operational efficiency.

Essential Functions

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on warehouse machinery including extruders, thread rolling machines, and other production equipment.


• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted operations.


• Maintain accurate maintenance records and document repair histories for equipment.


• Inspect machines and mechanical systems to identify potential issues or worn parts.


• Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and upgrades as needed.


• Ensure tools, parts, and equipment are properly maintained and stored.


• Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment.


• Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption.


• Assist in training operators on basic machine upkeep and troubleshooting techniques.


• Respond to emergency repair calls promptly and efficiently.


• Other duties as assigned.

Required Education/Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or vocational training in mechanical maintenance preferred.


• 3+ years of experience in industrial or mechanical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.


• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.


• Familiarity with extruders, thread rolling machines, and similar industrial equipment.


• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.


• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.


• Strong organizational and communication skills.


• Physical ability to lift heavy components, stand for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions.
