Overall Responsibilities

Reporting to the Executive Vice President, Global Marketing, the Marketing Coordinator is primarily responsible for: managing the Marketing department calendar, driving process improvements, orchestrating Marketing Leadership and Department meetings, delivering the Marketing department engagement plan, coordinating and managing Marketing Department events, facilitating marketing budget processes, and executing special projects (as aligned with Marketing Leadership). Effective support of our marketing team is critical to creating a solid foundation that will power our marketing efforts, strengthen our team dynamic, and ultimately impact business results.

The successful candidate will be highly organized with a project management mindset and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage timelines. This role will require creative thinking, an entrepreneurial mindset, and resourcefulness to help make our Marketing department a great place to work, while identifying gaps and opportunities within marketing processes and projects. The Marketing Coordinator will take a collaborative approach and have exceptional communication skills to successfully interact with the Executive Vice President, Global Marketing, the Global Marketing Leadership Team, and cross-functional teams, while also being able to manage tasks independently.

Specific Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Create and drive the Marketing Department engagement plan, in collaboration with

leadership

  • Diagnose department findings from the company’s annual Engagement & Inclusion survey
  • Utilize tools like focus groups to secure deeper learnings on the diagnosis
  • In collaboration with the Executive Vice President, Global Marketing, lead the Global
  • Marketing Leadership Team through a planning exercise against findings and learnings
  • Execute the resulting Engagement Plan in collaboration with the Global Marketing Leadership

Team

  • Project manage the workstreams that result from the Engagement Plan
  • Lead Marketing Team meetings and Marketing Leadership Team meetings:
  • Identifying the “right conversations” that the audience should be having
  • Agenda development
  • Meeting co-ordination and stewardship
  • Presentation creation and facilitation
  • Driving accountability at the agreed upon follow-ups resulting from the meeting
  • Manage and coordinate Marketing Team workshops and teambuilding events
  • Manage Marketing Team Member On-Boarding Process:
  • Continue implementation of newly created On-Boarding Process while acting as a key support role for new marketing team members
  • Maintain and distribute marketing materials required for on-boarding, as needed
  • Continuously improve the process based on collaborative learnings
  • Support Quarterly Marketing LE Process:
  • Become an expert in budget management such that you can coach others
  • Liaise with marketing stakeholders and finance department
  • Help to ensure process is running smoothly through communication of timelines and regular

touchpoints

  • Manage the Marketing Team Calendar of key dates, deliverables, and events
  • Organize and maintain Microsoft Teams folders, directories, and marketing distribution lists
  • Act as a “connecter” between teams within Marketing and other functions
  • Act as a liaison with Corporate Communications and ESG Teams
  • Management and execution of on-going special projects, as required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or equivalent
  • 2+ years marketing and/or coordinator experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint)
  • Strong project management capabilities
  • Resourceful, flexible and ability to problem solve
  • Highly organized with effective time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative to improve processes and operations
  • Experience interacting with cross-functional employees at various management levels
  • Collaboration ability and strong communication and presentation skills
  • Creative, enthusiastic, and possessing an entrepreneurial spirit to deliver solutions
  • Event planning experience is an asset
  • Experience in budget management or accounting is an asset
  • Experience and/or interest with Vitamins, Minerals and Natural Health Supplements and the
