Reporting:

This positionwill report directly to the Marketing Manager.

Key Responsibilities: 

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning, managing and executing Hopewell Residential (Hopewell) marketing projects and campaigns. The specialist will be creative, yet analytical, with the ability to report on campaign successes and objectives, nimbly adapting in real-time to ensure optimal project performance. Duties of the position include:

  • Develop, support and implement targeted marketing strategies/campaigns;
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to execute on campaigns and projects;
  • Oversee multiple home-building and community development marketing projects, managing the details, achieving deadlines and remaining on-budget; 
  • Develop, manage and track campaign budgets with a close eye for accuracy; 
  • Contribute to social media and communications efforts, including Facebook and Instagram; write and send emailers and blogs; and more as required;
  • Independently manage Pardot and Salesforce marketing campaign materials, including emails, automated campaigns and reporting;
  • With a designer and/or marketing colleagues, develop and execute on a wide range of marketing project items, including brochures, community marketing maps, sales collateral and marketing materials;
  • Oversee and execute tactical requirements as required, such as signage and pageantry; event-planning; sales centre/show home customer experience and updates; 
  • Be a key point of contact for project-related Sales team(s);
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of all industry-related award submissions;
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • About You: 

    You successfully balance strategic thinking with tactical work – you are both a thinker and a doer. You are a digital-focused, modern marketer who is emotionally intelligent, resourceful, results focused and energetic, with a positive disposition and orientation towards outstanding and collaborative marketing teamwork. 

    You have experience in a fast-paced role where you were independently and successfully managing numerous high-priority projects, campaigns and tasks. You have a proven track record in collaborating in a dynamic environment, are highly detail-oriented, and always communicate clearly and respectfully. 

    In addition to strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), you have a track record of marketing success from your previous role(s). Finally, you are self-directed, innovative and tech savvy, with:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in communications, marketing, business, or related field;
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in the marketing field;
  • A track record of marketing success from your previous role(s), with examples of marketing projects/campaigns you have developed;
  • Superior organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple, deadline-oriented priorities;
  • Previous experience within the development or residential construction industry considered an asset;
  • Ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines;
  • A valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle;
  • Understanding and working knowledge of Pardot considered an asset;
  • Knowledge of and interest in the competitive environment.
  • Working Conditions: 

    Traditional core office hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. This position will occasionally require attendance at events and show home openings outside of regular work hours, including evenings and weekends. Some travel will be required.
