Marketing Specialist - Financial Services

We are hiring for our client in the financial services industry

Location: Down town Toronto ON

Hybrid - Thrice a week in office (Tues, Wed, Thurs)

Job Summary:

The Opportunity

As a Marketing Specialist, you will support the development and execution of marketing initiatives with a specific focus on retirement plan sponsors the in Canadian markets. You'll collaborate with a creative and strategic team to enhance our market presence and deliver exceptional value to our clients. This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and project management abilities and will report directly to the Head of Plan Sponsor & TPA Marketing, North America.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and execution of marketing deliverables and campaigns, including digital, print, and event marketing efforts.

• Coordinate with internal teams, such as editorial, design, legal and compliance to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials and communications.

• Support the maintenance of marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, and digital content, ensuring all materials are up-to-date and compliant.

• Assist in the management of the team’s content calendar, scheduling, and tracking of marketing activities.

• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and strategies, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

• Support management team as needed.

Qualifications

• Post secondary education

• 3-5 years of experience in a marketing role

• Knowledge of the financial services industry and group retirement market is a plus.

• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Detail-oriented with a critical eye for quality.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.

• Research, information gathering and analytical skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
