Our Marketing Team

Our Marketing and Communications team aspires to drive innovation and be the industry leader in client engagement. Our versatile and knowledgeable team works collaboratively with business partners to enhance the client experience, creating value at every point of contact. We think strategically and align our initiatives to help our organization achieve its business objectives.

As a Specialist within the Integrated Marketing team, P&C, you will play an active role in helping to support daily marketing activities and planning initiatives for the Recreational Vehicles Line of Business (RVI).

How you will create impact:
  • Facilitate and project manage all aspects of the Recreational Vehicle marketing campaigns including online (advertising and website), print (advertising and advisor/client collaterals), social media (organic and advertising), email, radio and broadcast. This will include (all or many of the following):
  • development of creative briefs.
  • gathering feedback and integrating or adjusting accordingly.
  • managing final sign-off and approvals.
  • submission of translation and distribution requests.
  • vendor management.
  • other one-off or unique projects as required to support a broad base of marketing programs or business unit requests.
  • Take the initiative to plan, execute and monitor the effectiveness of Recreational Vehicle marketing programs. This includes making and applying recommendations based on research and client input to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Manage and monitor the Tradeshow program, with a focus on developing a long-term strategy that leverages Advisor involvement.
  • Manage and monitor ongoing partner and sponsorship programs, including accountability for partnership marketing activities - events, marketing assets, content updates, etc.
  • Responsible for the execution of programs within a set budget.
  • Manage and monitor ongoing campaign performance and results, including accountability for ensuring distribution of standard reporting metrics with recommendations for review or improvement.
  • Close liaison with Senior Marketing Consultant, other Marketing Specialists, and Partnership teams to ensure effective integration of new marketing initiatives into campaign scheduling to achieve maximum awareness in the marketplace.
  • Organize and document processes and procedures across functional teams.
How you will succeed:
  • Initiative and ownership: This is a strategically important role in an emerging line of business with new initiatives. You will have proven examples of taking the initiative - assuming ownership, independently researching and analyzing opportunities, or compiling recommendations for solutions – either a marketing program, a process change or a different strategy approach.
  • You have an innovative mindset to improve operational efficiencies and ability to influence change, with a primary focus on partners’ needs.
  • You use critical thinking skills to recognize assumptions, evaluate arguments, draw conclusions, and proactively propose solutions.
  • You have strong communication skills to clearly convey messages and explore diverse points of view.
  • You build trusting relationships with our partners and provide guidance to support the development of colleagues.
  • You possess strong budget management and project management skills to ensure initiatives are delivered on time and on budget.
To join our team:
  • You have 3-5 years of related experience in a marketing/insurance environment to understand the intricacies of partnership marketing, product marketing, content creation, and marketing analytics.
  • You have experience working in consumer marketing and using marketing media analysis to measure and improve planning and execution.
  • You have some experience building Marketing strategy to guide the yearly development of campaigns, tradeshows, sponsorships and events. This will be a key growth focus for this role.
  • Additional value if you have experience planning Tradeshows and Sponsorship events.
  • You’re flexible and easily adapt to new tools and trends in a fast-paced environment.
  • You’re a team player that knows your job isn’t done until our whole team succeeds.
  • You have a university degree (marketing, communication).
What you need to know:
  • You may travel on occasion to support Tradeshows and sponsored events. Tradeshows are mostly on weekends and if attendance at a Tradeshow is required, you will receive a day off in lieu for each weekend day working at a tradeshow..
What’s in it for you?
  • Training and development opportunities to grow your career with one of Canada’s Best Employers.
  • Flexible work options and paid time off to support your personal and family needs.
  • A holistic approach to your well-being, with physical and mental health programs and a supportive workplace culture.
  • Paid volunteer days to give back to your community.
  • In addition to our competitive salary and incentive programs, eligible employees also benefit from a comprehensive total rewards package including group retirement savings plans, pension and benefits (e.g., health and wellness, dental, disability and life coverage), mental health support and an employee assistance program.
