The Opportunity

We're looking for a Marketing Strategist who knows that effective marketing starts with asking the right questions. You'll help clients understand their audiences, identify opportunities and determine what to say, who to reach and how to reach them. You'll turn research and insights into marketing strategies, compelling messaging and actionable campaigns.

This is a hands-on role for a thoughtful marketer who loves both the big-picture thinking and the details that bring a strategy to life. You'll also contribute to KEEN's own marketing, helping share our work, expertise and personality.

This role is an in-person position at our head office in Edmonton, Alberta. We are NOT accepting applicants for remote work. 

What You'll Do

• Develop marketing strategies by researching audiences, competitors and markets, identifying opportunities and translating business goals into actionable marketing plans.


• Write compelling copy for websites, campaigns, landing pages, email, social media and other marketing materials. Develop messaging that is clear, purposeful and tailored to each audience.


• Support digital marketing initiatives by developing campaign concepts and content, understanding how channels work together, and using performance insights to inform recommendations.


• Manage KEEN's marketing and social media strategy, including planning content, sharing our work and expertise, and identifying opportunities to increase our visibility.


• Collaborate with clients and our creative team to present recommendations, develop ideas and deliver effective marketing solutions.

What You Bring

• 3–5 years of experience in marketing, communications, content marketing or a related role.


• Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to turn complex ideas into clear, compelling messages.


• A solid understanding of marketing strategy, audience development, brand positioning and campaign planning.


• The ability to think strategically and translate ideas into practical execution.


• Familiarity with digital marketing, including SEO, paid media, social media, email marketing and analytics.


• Strong communication, organization and project management skills.


• Initiative, curiosity and the ability to manage multiple priorities while working collaboratively with a team.

Agency experience is an asset. Experience with digital campaign management, marketing analytics or AI-powered marketing tools is also valuable.
