Material Handler - Day Shift (12 Month Term)

The Material Handling team manages and replenishes all supplies for the assembly departments, ensuring stations are fully stocked, at point of use, while providing great customer service. We partner with other departments to get what is required to produce a quality product in a timely manner for our customer.

Shift: Monday – Thursday 5:30 am – 4:00 pm

We are looking for a Material Handler to join the Manufacturing Admin team on the day shift. This is a full-time, 12 Month term, Band 3 position.

In this role, you will be responsible to:

• Coordinate the flow of materials to and from Assembly.


• Maintain and update multiple inventory management systems.


• Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels to support production requirements.


• Assist team members in identifying and locating required materials and components.


• Ensure materials are delivered accurately and efficiently to designated locations.


• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies through root cause analysis and corrective actions.


• Serve as the primary liaison for material-related communication between Office, Supply, and Assembly teams.


• Provide responsive customer service and material support to Manufacturing operations.


• Prioritize and manage customer requests and material demands


• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives

• Positive work experience in current position


• Ability to work independent of direct supervision


• Strong organizational skills


• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills


• Demonstrated ability to prioritize work


• Ability to train others on material replenishment principles


• Physically able to lift 25-50 pounds repeatedly, reaching at, above, or below shoulder height


• Ability to handle weighted material carts

 The following will be considered assets:

• Power jack and/or BT certificate


• Computer skills


• Product/material knowledge
