Position Purpose and Objectives

We are seeking a highly organized Material Stockroom Clerk to manage inventory, fulfill material requests for the production team, and report to the Master Scheduler.

Essential Job Functions

• Receive and inspect incoming goods against packing slips/purchase orders to ensure accuracy


• Maintain, organize and update inventory records in ERP system


• Store materials in designated locations and maintain a clean, organized and safe stockroom


• Pull and stage materials for production lines or shipment to customers


• Perform regular cycle counts and inventory audits to identify discrepancies


• Prepare documentation for shipping, receiving and inventory movement

Minimum Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse, stockroom or logistics role


• MRP/ERP Experience


• Syacc Experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Previous experience or sound knowledge of ERP systems, in particular the inventory management modules


• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills


• Highly detailed and organized


• Inventory management skills required


• Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment


• Strong analytical and time management skills


• Computer literate, proficient in MS Office


• Able to deal with a demanding and changing work environment


• Strong written/verbal communication

Working Conditions & Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is subject to the conditions of a manufacturing environment most of the time.  The noise level in the work environment is moderate.

Physical demands associated with this position include standing for long periods, walking, lifting & carrying heavyweight materials (up to 50 lbs unassisted). Must be able to bend, twist, stoop, and climb to reach materials.
