We are looking for a Meat Cutter to join our Brookswood location in Langley, BC.

Open availability is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Create a positive and professional experience by greeting and assisting every customer with inquiries and concerns.

• Prepare standard cuts of meats with the use of knives and tools.

• Ensure all items are wrapped & packaged, covered, labelled, rotated, and well stocked.

• Share product knowledge and recommendations with customers.

• Assist customers with product requests and special orders.

• Support the Meat Department Manager with ordering, processing invoices, and training and educating team members.

• Assist with receiving, unloading, and stocking merchandise.

• Clean equipment and workstation to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.

• Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive shopping experience.

• The ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Retail meat cutting experience and/or journeyperson certification is considered an asset.
