Mechanic

SUMMARY
Under general supervision, the Mechanic is responsible for installing, maintaining, and
repairing manufacturing equipment and fixtures.

JOB DUTIES

• Conducts regular maintenance on machinery, systems, and fixtures.
• Meets with clients to better understand their concerns and identify the issue.
• Examines machines and oversee diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems.
• Maintains work logs, repairs, and maintenance records.
• Helps carry out a plan of action for all maintenance tasks and upgrades.
• Assembles mechanical components according to specifications.
• Maintains equipment parts inventory and orders parts as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
This job typically requires a high school diploma or GED and zero (0) to two (2) years of
experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

• Work effectively with customers, peers, and management to resolve issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate shop equipment safely.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
